Who We Are

Card Front

ReBlessed is not just a store, it’s a philosophy!

We believe in bringing life to old things, decorating with the unexpected, and surrounding yourself in things you find to be beautiful. We have a passion of demonstrating how to combine contrasting styles and challenge your design aesthetic by bringing in the unexpected. We love a lot of different styles, and we hope that it shows in our store. We love all things chippy, rusty, textured, authentic, and timeless, but we also love to mix in modern elements for a chic, original style.

We aspire to be a destination store for the special, hard to find things ranging from antiques, one-of-a-kind items, locally-crafted housewares and jewelry, furniture paints, bath and body products, and trendy market finds. We try to have a wide selection of the antique and vintage, but we are not a flea market. We consider ourselves to be an eclectic boutique full of unique items with a distinct style.

We primarily specialize in custom-painted furniture and home goods. You can buy furniture from us to be painted, bring in your own pieces for us to paint, or take one of our workshops to learn how DIY. We also have a selection of wedding and event rentals and can connect you with other local event venues, bakers, photographers, and other professionals to make your event all the more special.

OUR HISTORY

Though our doors opened in 2013, out story begins further back. ReBlessed started as an outgrowth of the owner’s organization business called SOS, Sondra’s Organizing Solutions. During this business venture, Sondra was given the task to paint several pieces of furniture from different clients to use as organized storage in their home. Once she exported the fresh new pieces out through SOS, she discovered that people really enjoyed her work and special talent so she decided to start selling her painted furniture through various websites, which became an immediate and overwhelming success.

The combination of her skill and talent propelled her into starting the Facebook page “Upcycled Gems”. She ran this company out of her home for over a year, finishing many pieces that she found or that others brought to her. Not too long after, she quickly outgrew her humble beginnings at home and moved into her first storefront at Crown Center. The location has allowed her to stretch her creative and imaginative wings, offering the kinds of items she enjoys, decorative fare, jewelry, vintage gifts, and boutique items along with her furniture.

In May of 2017, ReBlessed will be relocating to Poplar Bluff Square. The new location is going to provide more space, a more central location in town, and the opportunity to expand inventory.

  1. We specialize mostly in painting vintage pieces of furniture. We have built a few pieces of furniture, but we mostly just paint furniture or repurpose old items into something new, usually home decor.

  2. Do you remake pieces (furniture & decorations ) from the past? Or is everything repurposed from the past and refinished?
